An elmGuide connects consumers with experts in three steps
1)
We begin by working with an expert to capture an in-person conversation they may actually have with a consumer. Through our proprietary software, we utilize an expert’s logic, guidance and suggestions and capture potential consumer responses.
2)
Once the elmGuide is built, it is made available to consumers via the web. All the contents of the guide are stored at elm but it can be accessed via blog links, portals, in e-mails, search engines and on elmlife.com.
3)
A consumer searching for advice comes across the link to the elmGuide and clicks on the link to launch the guide. The user is then guided through a conversation with the “virtual expert”.
An elmGuide consists of two main parts
1- The part you see
elm makes it easy for an expert to create an interactive conversation with a consumer. Without writing any code, you can add questions, answer choices, branching logic, advertisements, and many other features. We’ve built elm so that experts can capture their conversation easily, and then style the guide to match their brand. The idea is that nothing should stand between an expert and consumer when trying to communicate.
2- The part you don’t
An expert must communicate well, but also act on what they learn. elm’s suggestion engine makes it easy for an expert to translate their understanding of the consumer and guide to the right suggestion. Again, no programming necessary.
